ALBUM REVIEWS"Maybe only nitpicking music fanatics can pick out which musicians have taken from other songs that graced the Top 100 Billboard; however with Line in the Sand it is with a gracious admiration that hearing those influences brings a misty tear to my eye. Because out of all of the horrible reused riffs and catchy guitar licks that we hear in Pop music…being able to assertively say that Harbinger Uprising have certainly raised the bar. Surely they will start to receive recognition soon enough or at least that is the promised hope we all share.......Well this band from Tennessee may be one of the only hardcore groups to try and reach further than their previous influences. Plus how long has it been since a band has knocked out a 19 song album and succeeded with literally… every track? In recent memory, no one."
- Kristen Fisher / Music Existence " Far from being background music, the listener is bluntly invited to immerse themselves into the life-blood pulsations from behind the microphone. These guys remind me of Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Michael Calfan, Tim Berg, Serj Tankain, CKY, and Thomas Gold. The songs provide thick beats, magnificent twists and turns, and even in your face guitar tones and vocals delivered via a top tiered production value."
- Roger Sherwood / Indie Artists Alliance " Just when you think you've got this guy and his band down - you get blindsided by more songwriting depth......The CD as a whole packs a powerful punch, and vocals straight from the heart. . . . . . . . . Harbinger Uprising” is one of the most intriguing rock bands from Tennessee I’ve heard in a long while."
- Vince Patridge / Gashouse Radio "These two infuse loud guitars and powerful lyrics, which made more sense to me the more intoxicated I became. The rhythms and slow burning vocals coupled with the mind blowing lyrics will cause you to think and comprehend life itself from their twisted and funny perspective. It all makes perfect sense to me now. "
- David Streams / All What's Rock "When one buys an unpredictable hard rock CD, they don’t want marketability, flashiness or even rebellion. They want a band to color outside the lines a bit, breaking some rules along the way. Having said that, “Line in the Sand” delivers all of the above and more – it’s that simple folks."

"Line in the Sand", by Harbinger Uprising really demonstrates a deeper side of music and even a sense of hope, evident through a transparent exploration of yearning and feeling negative, yet boldly honest, about one's self and correlation to the universe and the unknown in general. They remind me of Audioslave, Alice in Chains, Slipnot, Team Sleep and at times Limp Bizkit. All brought to life with hauntingly detailed musical layers, hard hitting rhythm section, mean growly guitar and addictive vocal persuasion."
- Steve Skidds / Skope Magazine "My ears pricked up to the vocal style right away. Probably not the most common tongue and cheek singing style, but when sung in the right manner, it can become almost intoxicating. Add in mysterious lyrics and some slightly dangerous subject matter expressed with eloquence, emotion and conviction and you will come to understand why this is. The vocal style from Adames definitely flows like a ship lost at sea very much like Perry Ferrel (Jane’s Addiction) and Chris Cornell but with a vocal timbre more compatible with Alternative Rock. I’ve only heard a handful of singer execute this style well – and Harbinger Uprising is no exception."
- Kevin Jones / Band Blurb "This latest 19 song CD is an explosion deriving all your Past Psychedelic thoughts and fears into a musical landscape..........It’s almost comparable to an intellectual monster unleashed for the sole reason to get your ass thinking."
- Greg Kline / Indie Music Reviews "The solo and rhythm guitar performances are pure gold, vocals hold their own and the messages are clearly from the depths of the soul, and as a result covers a lot of ground emotionally."
- Clayton Lewis / Indiemunity Music Magazine "Harbinger Uprising had made a truly impressive debut album. “Line in the Sand” is a sonic whirlwind of heavy riffs, titanic drumming, and lyrical bombardment that takes contemporary progressive metal to a new standard. These guys are the guys to beat, they are musical front runners in their genre, and it is somewhat surprising their music is still semi-underground. “Line in the Sand” is a creative triumph, and Harbinger Uprising has shown their massive potential with this high quality performance."

Can you tell us a bit about your last album? How does it differ from other albums? - Vents Magazine
"Our debut album strives to ask the tough questions about life. The truth is often beautiful, but it is painful nonetheless. I want to bring progressive riffs and merge them with a lyrical uppercut to the soul. If I don’t make my listeners ponder their place in this world, then I have failed." - Morgan Adames |

"The finished product here is very impressive, it hits you like a punch in the face and it can’t be ignored. You can hear the aggression burning through every riff and lyric. They have definitely drawn the line in the sand with this album and won’t be denied here on out. I know this is just the beginning of something great and can’t wait to hear what’s next for the Harbinger Uprising!"
